Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. We offer our most sincere condolences for your loss.
Nick Oliver Sherrie, I'm so very sorry. I'm still reeling from my Mom's passing this year (I still cry daily). I can only tell you that thinking about the good times you had helps. If there is anything I can do, if you need an ear, I'm here. Nick
Steven Werner I’m so glad uncle Will was in my life however brief it may have been. His love of God was evident in the way that he treated the people he met. I know that Linda and I will miss him very much but we also know that he is with our Lord and as he has said, “It is Beautiful.”
Glenn and Helen Cadden Thinking of you at this time of loss. Uncle will;he will always live in our hearts. He will be missed, and we know he lives eternally with Jesus. We love you.
John DiCarlo I'm so very sorry that I will not be able to attend the viewing due to surgery this week. I extend my sincere condolences to the entire Elsroad family. Wil embodied what a Christian man should be like. God is Love, and Wil Elsroad was a loving man. He led by example. He prayed for many people daily by name. He fasted for me in difficult times. Wil was very instrumental in helping me with my walk with Christ. He was the type of father that I wished my father was---that loving man. If I had a question about the Bible--Wil could point to a specific book, chapter, and verse. He is with Jesus now, and all is good. I have so many fond memories of my years spent with Wil. The day we first met, I extended my hand to shake--he bypassed it and greeted me with open arms and the warmest hug I'd ever known--a hug that lasted through all our years together--we never ever shook hands once. We both loved corny jokes--the cornier, the better. So many meals, coffee, sweets, and conversation shared together--I will never forget when he would laugh and hold his belly. It was my pleasure and honor to know Wil Elsroad--a loving man, father, husband, and friend. Rest in Peace Wil--so glad you are home!
MARY JANE & BILL CLELLAND TO THE FAMILY OF WILL ELSROAD. ONE OF THE BONUSES OF BEING A CHRISTIAN IS THE WONDERFUL HOPE THAT EXTENDS BRYOND THE GRAVE INTO THE GLORY OF GOD'S TOMORROWS. WILL YOU ARE ON YOUR LAST JOURNEY HOME. I WILL MISS " OUR DEBATES" THAT HAVE BEEN EXCITEMENT FOR THE PAST 57 YEARS--BUT OUR FINAL DEBATE HAS BEEN FINALIZED BY JESUS' RESURRECTION. THANK GOD FOR HIS AG'APE LOVE FOR ALL MANKIND..OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF YOU ALWAYS---
