To the family of

Paul L. Mathias

From:  Message
Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. We offer our most sincere condolences for your loss.
Robin McCarthy and Family My Dear Friend, My heart is filled with sadness for your loss. I wish I had known your dad. For most people and as with your father death did not come suddenly. At his bedside I had the privilege of watching you continuously grant the greatest gift for a dying loved one. You gently directed your father to focus on pleasant thoughts and forgiveness. You provided emotional and spiritual comfort through his journey. You continuously caressed his arm, touched him and held his hand as you softly provided assurance, acceptance and permission to surrender to death. You allowed for the transfer of love, healing and closure. I know from experience how important, difficult and overwhelming this was for you as well as your father. You amazingly transitioned your dad for a peaceful path to eternity. I have no doubt he is proudly looking down on you. May you have another protective Angel by your side.
The Albrecht Family, Dear Nancy, Paul is at peace now. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. With Sympathy, Tom, Vicky, Alec and Alysa
Tom Byrne Jr So sorry to hear of Mr. Paul's passing. My dad worked with Paul for years at the Public Service commission of Maryland. I met him when I was a young kid, and spent some time with him and my dad when I got older. Paul fixed a few tractors for my dad, and they both shared a love for antique cars. I also spent some time with both of them having a few beers at the American Legion. I always liked Paul, a very nice person and a pleasure to be around. He was a good friend to my dad and both are surely missed. Deepest Sympathy Tom
