Corinne Shaffer Aunt Shirley was a strong woman, and she will be missed. So glad she was a part of our lives for as long as we had her. Sending love from Florida.
Harold and Heather Reece During the short time we have known Mom Mom Shirley, it has not been difficult to understand how much she was loved or why. We are saddened, she has passed, but certainly what is our loss is Heavens gain.
Margaret Dowell One couldn't help but love Shirley the minute you met her. She truly loved her husband Fran, her daughters and grandchildren. Her face would light up talking about them. Once you were introduced to her then you became her friend for life. She really cared so much for all her friends and never hesitated to tell them. When you were hurting, she was hurting. One would be hard pressed to find someone so open. so caring and so full of life as Shuirley. Her heart was humongous and she shared it with everyone. When we took our first motorcycle ride together and she noticed that the ladies weren't holding tight to their husbands, she relaxed her hands and was so proud of herself. One ride she noticed that a lady had "DOT" on her helmet and said "Look she has her name on her helmet". Well we all laughed as we explained that it meant something else and she gave that "DUH" look of hers and laughed with us. From that day forward we called her Dot and she loved it. Shirley will be missed by so many and forever thought of as one of the nicest people you had the pleasure of meeting. May she rest in peace with her beloved family in heaven. My heart is heavy but knowing that her, Fran, Robin and Dina are together again helps ease the pain. My prayers go out to all of her family members.
Virginia Eastman Sorry for the loss of your Grandma.
Karen Brocato Kroupa I have to say what a wonderful couple Fran and Shirley were .They so complimented each other. We had alot of laughs together. I had not seen them for years but it is still very fresh in my mind .What an impression they left. Isn't that what it is all about- what people will say about you when your gone. So blessed to have known them both. I was there server at Texas Roadhouse years about 8 to 10 years ago . Love, Karen
