George R. Harmon JR Condolences from the Harmon and Westcott Families. Mr. Sam was a close friend of my grandparents Robert and Christine Westcott. I spent many summer afternoons as a child sitting under my grandparents carport hearing Mr Sam tell stories of when him and my grandfather used to go crabbing. We also had many dinner together at post 2462. I will always cherish those times and will surely miss him.
Susan Brenton Uncle Sam was very special to me. Since I had no uncles of my own close to me, I kind of adopted Uncle Sam. He was always so good to us and always was so happy to see us. He has been an inspiration to us for many years now. He will be missed. Iā€™m so thankful we were able to see him a few days ago and he knew we were there. I brushed his hair....and he said he needed a shave! Hahaha. What a joyful man he was. He will always live in my heart. Susan
Richard Shultz I want to give my condolences, and prayers to the wonderful family, and my friends. For having the pleasure of knowing Uncle Sam and his children. I was introduced to him and always called my friend "Uncle Sam", he is in a beautiful place and I'm sure, with many of his friends. More important he is with his Lord and savior. Happy Fishing Uncle Sam. I will miss you.
