Holly Poplaski and family So very saddened to hear of Gina’s passing. She was so very lucky to have such a wonderful ,supporting family to help her through her illness. May the Lord help you get through the next few days, weeks and months ahead. Hang tight to all the memories of her. I will remember her smile and laughter. Keeping the whole family in prayer.
Tom Guercio Gina started working for Reliable Stores in 1980, about a year before I was hired there. In 1981 she took full responsibility for the Company’s payroll of over 2,000 employees. Gina reported either directly or indirectly to me for the next 17 years and continued to work for La-Z-Boy after we sold our stores to them. She was loyal, hard-working employee and I knew I could always rely on her to follow company policy and maintain the confidentiality of employee information. She always met her deadlines and did so in a cheerful manner. It was always a pleasure when she came into my office with her smile and upbeat attitude. I remember that especially sad time in her life when her young daughter, Cristina, was diagnosed with a rare disease which eventually took her life. After enduring the long illness and then death of her child, it took a while, but Gina was able to bounce back and go on with her life, which I know held more challenges for her. In 2006, when her functions were being moved to the La-Z-Boy Corporate Headquarters, as fortune would have it, she was interviewed for a new position by Mike Fortwengler, with whom I had worked many years before. Naturally, when Mike called me, I gave Gina a glowing recommendation and I am sure that Mike had the same positive experience as I had enjoyed with Gina. We all love you Gina. May you rest in peace! Tom Guercio
Don & Nancy Heasley Gina will be greatly missed but her warmth, kindness, and happy spirit will be remembered forever. Our deepest sympathy.
Cathy and Mark Jarrett We send our deepest sympathies to Ginas family and friends. Gina was my best friend all through High School. We have many great memories of fun times, Prom, playing pool, etc. Gina and I used to go to the gym after school,..... Gina, May you Rest in Peace honey.
Aunt Vicki and Uncle Rudy May God bless and keep you, sweet Gina. So many memories of you growing up. You always had a smile on your face. Uncle Rudy remembers how sweet you were as a child. When we got married 45 years ago, during the wedding reception, you walked up to him and said "you know you're my uncle now"! He says he'll never forget that and it made him feel welcome to the family. May you rest in peace.
Barbara Zaruba My thoughts and prayers are with you
Janice Spence So sorry for your loss. May God's peace ease your burden as days so by. She is forever in your hearts & is smiling down on you. Deepest sympathy, Janice
