  • Francis “Buddy” X. Denner, 72, a 10 year resident of Crumpton and formerly of Pasadena for 62 years died on May 17, 2014 at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

    He was born on February 25, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Loretta Denner.

    Mr. Denner worked for the NEVAMAR Corporation for 42 years retiring as a supervisor in 2003.  He was a past member of the Bible Church of Lake Shore.  His hobbies included hunting and woodworking.  He also enjoyed the fact that he “might not always be right but he was never wrong”.

    In additon to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother William A. Denner.

    Mr. Denner is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret “Marie” Denner, his son William J. Denner of Pasadena, his daughters Penny E. Netzer and her husband Daniel of Floral City, FL and Lori A. Darpino and her husband Marty of Crumpton, his brother Charles E. Denner of Chestertown, his grandchildren Amanda Turner and her husband James, Chelsea Netzer, Monica Darpino and Seth Darpino, and his great grandchildren Noah, Isabella and Scarlett Turner.

    Friends may call on Tuesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A.  Funeral services will be held at the Bible Church of Lake Shore on Wednesday at Noon.  Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
