  • Harold E. Dixon, 77, a 19 year resident of Arnold and formerly of Pasadena, died on June 25, 2014 at his residence.

    He was born in Nickelsville, VA on December 31, 1936 to the late Smith G. and Mary L. Dixon.

    Mr. Dixon worked at Martin Gillet Company in Baltimore for over 25 years retiring as Vice President of Operations in 1987.  He was a member of the VFW Post #2462 in Pasadena, the American Legion #130 in Perry Hall, and a past member of the Bel Air Inn Pleasure Club.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing ,and playing cards.

    In addition to his parents Mr. Dixon is preceded in death by his brothers Frank, James, Paul, and Michael Dixon, and his sister Irma Wolf.

    He is survived by three sons; Ray E. Dixon and his wife Patti, Randolph E. Dixon and his wife Debra, and Jeffrey A. Dixon, all of Pasadena.  Two brothers; Robert Dixon of DE and Raymond Dixon of PA.  Seven sisters;  Faye Salyer of TN, Jean Barbour of MD, Kathleen McGee of MD, Carol O'Hara of MD, Doris Caruccio of PA, Patsy Grant of DE, and Joyce Gwyer of MD. Seven grandchildren; Sean, Ryan, Michael, Brandon, Aaron, Tiffani, and Brittney and many nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call on Saturday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post #2462 1720 Bayside Beach Rd. Pasadena, MD 21122.
