  • Robert E. "Bob" Messoria, 67, a resident of Glen Burnie formerly of South Baltimore died July 13 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born September 3, 1946 to the late William and Virginia Messoria.

    Mr. Messoria was a graduate of Southern High School in 1966. He learned how to revive someone in junior and senior high school, and saved a child's life in 1973 using these techniques.  . He worked as a Keyboard Typesetter for the News American up till they closed in the late 80's, as a limo driver for the Md. Limo Co. in the late 80's and for the Goverment Printing Office till he retired in 2008. In the 70's and 80's he was a member of the Cin-go-te club in S. Balt., the Curtis Bay Athletic Club, and he was an umpire for the South Baltimore Little League. He was an avid Orioles, Raven and the old Baltimore Colts fan. He enjoyed fishing and bowling.

     He is survived by a son Robert M. Messoria and his wife Alison of Glen Burnie, 2 sisters Mary Catterton of Glen Burnie and Linda Pospisal of Carney Pt. N.J. also survived by 2 grandchildren Ryan and Samantha. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Kenneth and Edward Messoria and a sister Wilma Krouse.

    Friends may call on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home PA, 3111 Mountain Rd. Pasadena were funeral services will be held on Thursday 10 AM. Burial Meadowridge Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy at or the Johns Hopkins Burn Center 4940 Eastern Ave. Baltimore.
