  • Arthur “Otts” W. Humm, Sr., 94, a 66 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Baltimore died on November 17, 2014 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

    He was born on February 22, 1920 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH to the late Harry and Lily Humm

    Mr. Humm served in the US Army in the 29th Division that landed on Omaha Beach.  He and his wife founded Ventnor Marina in 1948 which he owned until his retirement in 2012.  Mr. Humm was a member of the Lake Shore-Severna Park Rotary Club and received the Paul Harris Award.  He enjoyed winter vacations in FL, coin collecting, and fishing in his younger years.

    In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Irma Humm, his brothers Dutch, Edward, and Robert Humm, and his sister May Kastner.

    Mr. Humm is survived by his son Arthur “Jay” Humm, Jr. and his wife Joann, his daughter Robin S. Brashears and her husband Wayne all of Pasadena and his sister Margaret Campbell of PA.

    Friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the BWMC Foundation.
