  • Carmella “Mimi” M. Cincinnati, 82, a 19 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Silver Spring died on January 24, 2015.

    She was born in Brier Hill, PA on August 25, 1932 to the late Domenico and Amelia Martucci.

    Mrs. Cincinnati co-owned Carmella and Cellistina’s Beauty Salon in the Langley Park/Silver Spring area in the 1950’s with her longtime friend Ida Brugnoli.

    She was a past member of St. Camillus Catholic Church in Silver Spring and the Red Hats Society.  Mrs. Cincinnati was a current member of Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church, the Pasadena Senior Club, St. Jane Senior Club, and the Magothy Senior Club.

    Carmella enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends and she enjoyed playing bingo.  She was inspirational as a breast cancer survivor, giving words of encouragement and sharing personal experiences.

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cincinnati is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Vincent P. Cincinnati.

    She is survived by her son Greg Cincinnati and his fiancée Maggie Petro of Aurora, CO, her daughter Judy A. Bonucci and her husband Dion Bonucci of Pasadena, her granddaughter Tori Bonucci of Pasadena, her sister Marlene Berry and brother in law Donald Berry of Purcellville, VA, her niece and nephews Keith, Tess, and Kevin, her extended family members Debbie Bonucci, Tara, and Brett Garver and many exceptional close friends.

    Friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A.  A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Chesapeake Catholic Church.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
