  • Richard "Rick" L. Meeks Jr.,54 a life long resident of Pasadena died January 27 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Rick was born February 21, 1960 in Baltimore to Richard "Dick" and Nancy Meeks of Pasadena. He was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church.

    Rick graduated in 1978 from Northeast High School, 1983 from West Chester State Collage in Pennsylvania and in 1985 from George Washington University with a Masters Degree in exercise physiology. He was an athletic trainer for both the county and state level for youth, high school and college athletes. He enjoyed crabbing, times with family and friends around the bonfire, cookouts and spending time with his 2 dogs Max and Baby.

    He is survived by his wife of 28 years Deborah Meeks "nee" Fagan, two daughters Alisandra Meeks and her fiance', Mark Doran and Jennifer Meeks and her fiance', Dylan Hoyles all of Pasadena, his parents Richard and Nancy Meeks of Pasadena, his grandson Charlie Hoyles, his sister Michele Suite and her husband Morgan of Edgewater, and a godson Matthew Rice. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call on Saturday and Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home PA, 3111 Mountain Rd. Pasadena. Funeral services will be held on Monday 11:30 AM at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 4708 Prudence St., Baltimore MD. 21226. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave. 5th Fl. Norwalk, Ct., 06851 or Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
