  • Naomi H. Goebel, 95, a resident of Pasadena for 68 years died April 8 at the Crofton Care and Rehabilitation Center.

    She was born on August 26, 1919, in Baltimore, MD to the late James and Idamae Keilholtz.

    Mrs. Goebel worked for Read's Drug Store in the Old Harundale Mall from 1959 to the mid 1970's.  She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Goebel enjoyed embroidery, crossword puzzles, and playing bingo at the Stoney Creek Democratic Club until 2011.

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goebel is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years John F. Goebel her brothers Walter, Howard, and Jim Keilholtz and her sisters Emma Wayson, Esther Miller, Pearl Gilligan, Annamae Spencer and Doris Conway.

    She is survived by her son Donald W. Goebel of Roaring Spring, PA, her daughters Jan N. Wittig (Oliver) of Severna Park, Donna J. Lange (Mike) of Severna Park, and Cheryl A.Holewinski (Stan) of Pasadena, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons. 

    Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church 905 Duvall Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
