  • Cesar "Tony" Peralta Lazo, 78, a 39 year resident of Glen Burnie died on August 6, 2015 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

    He was born on May 31, 1937 in the Philippines to the late Toribio and Aurelia Lazo.

    Mr. Lazo served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War on USS Plymouth Rock.

    He retired from the Baltimore City Police Department in 1999 after 32 years of service.

    Mr. Lazo was a member of the Glen Burnie Church of the Nazarene and the Fraternal Order of Police.

    His hobbies included fishing and working at the Ravens and Orioles Stadiums.

    In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers.

    Mr. Lazo is survived by his wife of 48 years Elfy L. Lazo, his sons Johann, Kurt, and Jörgen, his daughter Angelika, 7 siblings, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

    Friends may call on Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM.  Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Glen Burnie Church of the Nazarene at http://www.gbnazarene.org/ or the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute at http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/heart_vascular_institute/about_us/charitable_giving/
