  • Fred F. Lackey, 73, a 40 year resident of Pasadena died on February 2, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

    He was born to Robert J. and Olean L. Lackey on April 25, 1942 in Pittsburg, PA where he grew up.

    Mr. Lackey was the store manager for for Revco/CVS on Mountain Rd. where he was known as the “Mayor of Pasadena”  He retired from Revco/CVS in 2009 with 30 years of service.

    His hobbies included listening to Latin music, dancing, fine dinning, good tequila and watching Fox news.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and working.

    Mr. Lackey is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lynnette Reck-Lackey, his daughters Lisa L. Mazingo and her husband Bobby, Sr. of Queenstown and Catherine L. Billing and her husband James of Pasadena, his grandchildren Bobby, Jr. and Jillian Mazingo, Hanna, Madison, and Charleigh Billing, and his sister-in-law Bonnie L. Reck who helped care for him during his illness.

    Friends may call on Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
