  • Phrocine B. Schreiber, 88, a 66 year resident of Glen Burnie died on August 13, 2016 at her residence.

    She was born in Pantego, NC on November 10, 1927 to the late John and Anna Brown (nee Squires).

    Mrs. Schreiber worked as a manager at Two Guys in the housewares department for 10 years and then as a receptionist for Dr. Karapenini for over 15 years retiring in 1998.

    She was a member of the Randall Street Christian Church in South Baltimore, a former member of the Eastern Star and the Marley Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  She volunteered at the gift shop at North Arundel Hospital, enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting and working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles.

    In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Schreiber and her sisters Sarah Jaglas, Hazel Potter, and Agnes Shue.

    Mrs. Schreiber is survived by her sons John E. Schreiber, Sr. and his wife Gloria of Glen Burnie, Ben Alder of Pasadena, and Ronald E. Schreiber and his wife Tonya of Pasadena, her daughter Patricia A. Schreiber of Glen Burnie, her grandchildren; John Schreiber, Ben Schreiber and Jessica Brown, and her great grandchildren; Tyler, Kiersten, Zachary, Nicholas, and Cameron.

    Friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Hospice of the Chesapeake.
