    Rowland W. Fontz, 82, a 29 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Baltimore died at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on January 10, 2009.
    He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 14, 1926 to the late William E. and Edith Fontz.
    Mr. Fontz graduated from high school in Baltimore in 1944.  He was self employed as Fontz Organ Company in Baltimore in the early 1960's thru the 1980's.  He was a Master Clock Maker in the late 1970's during which time he maintained the Bromo Seltzer Clock and the Clock at City hall as well as many other clocks in the Baltimore metro area.
    He was a member of Lee St. Memorial Baptist Church in Baltimore, the Howard Masonic Lodge, the National Pipe Organ Builders, and the Pascal Senior Center.
    Mr. Fontz also enjoyed spending time with his family.
    He is survived by his daughters, Diane Shoe of Pasadena, Denise Bouyelas of Glen Burnie, his sister Lillian Stewart of Pasadena, his grandson Justin Talbot, and his great grandchildren Christopher and Elizabeth Talbot.
    A memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Lee St reet Baptist Church 109 Warren Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.
