  • Annie Hanley Hopf, 83, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the hospital following a brief illness.

    Mrs. Hopf was born November 8, 1933 in Baltimore, MD to the late Jabez and Annie Jordan. She retired from Anne Arundel County Public Schools in 1990 after over 31 years of service, mostly in Chesapeake Middle School. She was a member of the Pasadena Senior Center. Her hobbies included bingo, traveling, spending time with her loving family and with her devoted friend Millie. 

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hopf is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard Hopf, and brother Albert Jordan. 

    She is survived by her sons Richard "Rick" Hopf and wife Donna of Pasadena, Albert Hopf and wife Gail of Pasadena, daughters Gerry Bruce and husband Lee of Pasadena, Debra Mitchell and husband Leroy of Tennessee, brother Jabez "Jimmie" Jordan of the Eastern Shore, 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and her devoted friend Millie Messenger. 

    Friends may call Friday, November 10th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where services will be held Saturday, November 11th at 10:00 am. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
