  • Walter J. King, 76, a lifelong resident of Anne Arundel County passed away on November 14, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

    Mr. King was born in Ferndale, MD on August 7, 1941 to the late Lillian and Mark King.

    Mr. King served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

    Walter was a jack of all trades and worked for over 30 years doing apartment maintenance, he was a Master HVAC and Master Electrician.  

    Mr. King's was a member of the Masons Liberty Pickering #219, the Ghost Ryderz Car Club

    His hobbies included dirt track racing in his early years, Licensed HAM Radio operator, volunteer firefighter at Marley Station #18, he was a cub scout and boy scout master for troop #857 for over a decade and a car enthusiast.

    Walter is survived by his sons: Michael W. King, Joseph W. King, and their mother Donna King, sister: Lillian Chinchar, and 4 grandchildren. 

    Friends may call Sunday, November 19th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where services will be held Monday, November 20th at 12:00 pm. Interment at Crownsville Veteran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
