  • T.J. Swigert, a Master trades man of many trades a wealth of knowledge, a giver above all else and a life long resident and explorer of this great world, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2018 at the age of 43.  Along time resident of Pasadena and Glen Burnie, Maryland.

T.J., A father, son, brother and uncle will be forever remembered by his children Jordan and McKinzi Swigert, mother Debbie Gerhardt, brothers Roger, Johnny D., Johnny R. Swigert, and Bo (Robert) Gerhardt, sister Starr Swigert (Shelton), numerous nieces and nephews.

T.J. was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 6, 1974 to Debbie and the late Thomas Swigert.  He graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1992 and went on to expanding his knowledge in all the trade fields and started many successful business adventures.

He was a devoted family man who always did his best to take care of everyone else.  Never being one to put himself first, he gave all when most had none and would give the shirt off his back before his own needs.  Always the first to be there whenever he received a call that someone needled his help.  He was never the spiritual man who would go to church, but he would read the bible, quote versus and pray everyday for those he cared for and those he just wanted to help.

He enjoyed crabbing, boating, riding his Harley and just spending good quality time with his friends and family.  A great problem solver, known for his knowledge, know how, skills and his unmatched work ethic.  His last few years have been spent building an organization called Bikers 4 Tykes.  This organization united bikers and businesses to help those in need.  He started "Unity" Through Collaboration, his efforts were able to provide toys, food and comfort to those who could not provide for themselves.  He gave all he had up to the end.  He has touched and will be missed by more people than we will ever know or be able to fathom.  T.J. was very special, he will be missed deeply, by his family, friends and all who knew him or anyone who ever had the chance to be graced by his presence.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
