  • Kathleen Krondon was 80 years old when she passed away at her residence on January 16, 2018. She was a 50 year resident of Pasadena.

    She was born on March 28, 1937 in Mercer County, WV to the late Ernest and Dovie Bailey.  Mrs. Krondon grew up in West Virginia and was one of eight children.

    Mrs. Krondon was a wonderful wife, mother,grandmother, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved and adored very much. She traveled all over the country to watch her husbands softball team and was his biggest cheerleader. She was also an avid Orioles fan and loved baseball.  Kathleen bowled on a bowling league during the 1980's.  She also enjoyed reading her Bible every day, and she was a strong believer in the Lord.

    In addition to her parents Mrs. Krondon is preceded in death by her brothers Roger Bailey and David Bailey, and her sister Shelby Shumate.

    She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joey Krondon, her son Michael Krondon and his wife Gail, her daughters Kim Blackwell and her husband Kenneth, and Sheila Lusby and her husband Timothy, her sisters Juanita Bailey, Carol Rutledge, Sandy Dunn, and Brenda Bailey, and her grandchildren Michael, Nikole, Joey, Tim, and Nicholas.

    Friends may visit on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM.  Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
