  • Kenneth Patrick Oliver, Sr., 75 a life long resident of Baltimore died February 4, 2018 at the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

    Mr. Oliver was born April 5, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late Slyvester G. Oliver Sr. and Mary Oliver. He worked first as a Stevedore in the 1960's right after High School. From there, he worked for Mold Craft Co. where he retired after over 30 years of service in the 1980's.  He then went on to work for Baltimore City Security at Walters Art Gallery retiring in 1997 after 10 years in the industry. He was a member of Church on the Boulevard. (EBC) of Morrell Park in Baltimore. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Edgemere. He loved dancing and Elvis' music. He enjoyed cooking out and always had a good time with family in Delaware. He was an avid Orioles and Ravens Fan. He was also a very patriotic person and got very emotional every time heard Our Country's National Anthem.

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Oliver is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Ann Oliver-Montz, second wife Betty Ann Oliver, daughter Susan Oliver Cornish, brother Sylvester G. Oliver, Jr., sister Mary Ellen Monti and grandchildren Shawn Hunnell and Clarence Allen Hunnell Jr. 

    He is survived by his fiance Pamila Jones of Baltimore, son Kenneth Oliver, Jr. of Ferndale, daughter Karen Oliver Horsley of Pasadena, Sharon Oliver Hunnell of College Park, grandchildren Angelique Dobry, Kristina Brewer,Danielle Horsley,Ryan Horsley, Sarah Cornish Barnes, Gary Morris, James Cornish III, Brian Hunnell, Archie Hunnell, Terry Buchanan, Misty Schultz, Kenneth Oliver III, Brandon Oliver, Michelle Oliver and 22 great Grandchildren.

    Friends may call Saturday, February 10th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 where services will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment is private. 

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church on the Boulevard, 2444 Washington Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21230
