  • Noble "Butch" Tabb Tongue, III, 74, a resident of Perry Hall, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. 

    Mr. Tongue was born December 14, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to the late Noble and Miriam Tongue. He served honorably in the US Navy. He retired from the Social Security Administration in 2018 after over 20 years of service. He enjoyed cooking, camping, and his koi pond. 

    In addition to his parents, Mr. Tongue is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Jack Tongue. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Dorina Tongue, daughter Cristina Waters and her husband Andrew of Shwanee, KS, sister Carolyn T. Wisthoff and her husband Jack of Pasadena, MD, niece Katie W. Carico and husband Michael and their 4 children of Davidsonville, MD, nephew Ben Wisthoff and his wife Kellie of Pasadena, MD, and cousins Carolyn Perry of Seneca, SC, Janet Darling of Seneca, SC, Louis Reeves of Greer, SC, Jane Strong of Pasadena, MD, Bobby and Nancy Strong of NC, Ruth Strong of MD,  Tracey and Randy Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA, father in law Ioan Sandru, brother in law John Rus , nephew Paul Rus, good friends Will and Wilma Waters, the Chu family, Wilbur family and many friends from the USA and Romania, many wonderful neighbors and co-workers, especially Sandra Eddington and Al Sullivan. 

    Friends may call Sunday, June 3rd at 2-5 pm at Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Episcopal Church Cemetery, 5 Sherwood Road #A, Cockysville, MD 21030 on Monday, June 4th at 12:00 pm. 

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sherwood Episcopal Church Preservation Fund, 5 Sherwood Road #A, Cockysville, MD 21030
