  • Robert Bruce Nollette, 80, a resident of Pasadena, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after serveral years of suffering with dementia. 

    Mr. Nollette was born December 29, 1937 in Lincoln, NE, to the late Richard and Delores Nollette. After completing 2 years of college, he enlisted into the Army (1959-1962) where he gained valuable experience that led to his successful career within the NSA (1964-1994). In 1965, he married  Sharon K. Koozer-Nollette. Together they had 3 kids, Jennifer Stansbury (1968), Matthew Nollette (1969) and Kevin Nollette (1971). Before settling down in Maryland, he traveled and lived with his family in Tehran, Iran, and Mexico City, Mexico. Upon retirement from the NSA, he decided to go back to work for the Pacific Union RAilroad in North Platte, Nebraska. 

    Mr. Nollette was a devoted Catholic, and he made it his mission to be closer to God, as he would attend Masses daily until his illness. He is survived by his three kids, Jennifer of Marydel, MD, Matthew and Kevin of Pasadena, MD, mother of his children, Sharon of Missouri, son-in-law Richard (married to Jennifer), daughter-in-law, Amy (married to Kevin), 4 grandchildren, Heather, Courtney, Ian, Callie, and 1 great grandchild, Owen. Additional family included his siblings, John, Keith, Rosalyn, Jeanette, and Tom. Also, his wife JoAnne of San Antonio, TX. 

    Mr. Nollette is preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings, Doug and Sharon. 

    Services will be held at the VA Cemetery in Crownsville, MD for family at a later date.
