Elizabeth Ann Blodgett, 68, a resident of Foley, Alabama, passed away on July 31, 2018 at the V.A. Community Living Center on Loch Raven Blvd. in Baltimore, MD.  She was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2016 while visiting her sister who lives in Arnold, MD and was never able to return to Alabama, though that was her greatest desire.  She loved being near the beach.

Elizabeth Blodgett was born January 22, 1950 in Mt Sterling, WI to the late William and Katherine Blodgett and grew up in Kensington, MD.  She graduated from Albert Einstein High School in 1968 and joined the Air Force from 1968 to 1973.  She was very proud of her service to her country.  After the service she went to work for Control Data working with computers.  Her last job was working as a counselor with the American Cancer Society Call Center and she loved helping people.

Her hobbies included watching the Food Network and cooking; taking pictures and making photo books; and shopping and crafting.  She loved spending time with her family and cooking/baking special family recipes for them.

Elizabeth is survived by two brothers, William (Lois) Blodgett of Dana Point, CA and Joseph (Carol) Blodgett of Stevensville, MD and her sister Connie (Paul) Kangas of Arnold, MD,  Step-daughter Stacy (Brandon) Gates, Step-son Brian Dunlap, and step-grandchildren, Allyson Dyer, Elijah Gates, Eve and Bailey Dunlap and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Interment will be private at a future date in Mt. Sterling, WI.
