  • Stephen A. Sink, 72, a 44 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Glen Burnie died on November 3, 2018 at his residence.

    He was born in Greenville, OH on October 3, 1946 to the late Robert E. and Virginia Sink (nee Marker).  Mr. Sink graduated from Greenville Ohio High School in 1965.  He then studied at Bowling Green University and Devry University before moving to Maryland in 1967 where he obtained his associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College.

    Mr. Sink was employed by Northrup Grumman/Westinghouse for 47 years.  He was also employed by Giant Food #121 in Annapolis for 12 years.

    Mr. Sink was very involved in his community having coached youth football for the Lake Shore Spartans, the Pasadena Chargers and the Bucs as well as youth baseball for Lake Shore.  He also served as an advisor for the Glen Burnie DeMolay.

    He was a member of Masonic Lodge #29 in Annapolis, Tall Cedars #126 in Annapolis, Boumi Temple in Baltimore, Eastern Star #117 in Severna Park which consolidated with Odenton #29 where he was Past Patron and he had served as the Grand Representative of the Grand Chapter of North Dakota in Maryland.  He was also a member of the Pasadena Camping Crew, the Panda Ski Club, and the Myrtle Beach Golf Group.

    His hobbies included skiing, camping, golfing, gardening, putzing, his pug family and he was an avid Ohio State, Ravens and Orioles fan.

    In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his younger brother Doug Sink.

    He is survived by his wife of 50 years Cynthia "Cindy" S. Sink, his sons Todd A. Sink (Christie) and Jason A. Sink (Kristen), his brother Ronald Sink, his grandchildren; Tyler, Marissa, and Maria Sink, and his great granddaughter Charlotte Rose Sink.

    Friends may call on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A.  An Eastern Star service will begin at 7:30 PM and a Masonic service at 8:00 PM.  Funeral services will begin at 8:30 PM on Thursday.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Riviera Beach Fire Volunteer Fire Company at 8506 Ft. Smallwood Road Pasadena, MD 21122.
