  • Christine J. Wilbanks, 68, a resident of Pasadena died on January 25, 2019 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

    She was born on March 13, 1950 in Annapolis, MD to the late Chris and Carrie Andreae.

    Mrs. Wilbanks grew up and lived in the Pasadena area until she got married and moved to Arnold.  Christine and her husband lived in Arnold for 20 years before moving back to Pasadena.

    She retired as a manager from Rite-Aid in 1995 after 15 years of service.

    Mrs. Wilbanks was a past member of Magothy United Methodist Church.

    Her hobbies included crocheting, painting, singing, and she wrote a cookbook.

    In addition to her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Peller.

    She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mikey R. Wilbanks, Sr., her children Mikey R. Wilbanks, Jr., April J. Saffran and her husband William, and Johnny Cordell and Debbie Bell both of whom she raised as her own, her brother Chaplain George Andreae, and 10 grandchildren.

    Friends may visit on Sunday and Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, P.A. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.  It was Christine's desire to have memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society because she fought cancer for 24 years and won the battle in 2018 and wanted to help others.
