  • Sandra "Sandy" Margaret Michaud, 65, a resident of Glen Burnie, MD passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 in her home. 
    Mrs. Michaud was born September 6, 1953, in Baltimore, MD to the late Howell Owens and Margaret Liberto. She graduated from Landsdowne High School and worked tirelessly making chocolates for her own company called, "A Sweet Delight Nut Free Chocolates" in MD. Her hobbies included biking, reading, watching TV, and spending quality time with her friends and family--she was loved by all! She was the proud mother to five beautiful daughters of whom were adopted from Honolulu, Hawaii. Additionally, she was also a loving Foster Mom to over 40 special needs children in both Maryland, Washington D.C. and Hawaii. She was a member of the Church of the Crucifixion and Holy Trinity in Maryland. She was also a proud military spouse. 
     
    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Michaud is preceded in her death by her sister, Deborah Owens. She is survived by her husband David Michaud, son Eddie Eichelberger, Jr., daughters, Summer Michaud, Raychelle Michaud, Vicky Michaud, Morgan Michaud, and Kayla Michaud, mother-in-law, Gertrude Michaud, sisters-in-law, Charlene Pelletier and Linda Demario, brothers-in-law, Yves Pelletier and Dean Demario, nephew, Zackary Pelletier, nieces, Alysa Demario and Krista Demario; her friend, Eddie Eichelberger, Sr. and her grandchildren included: Destiny, Eddie, Corey Eichelberger, as well as great grandchildren Aria Bunting, Jaxon Bunting, Mila Bunting, and Michael Eichelberger. 
     
    A viewing will be held Thursday, March 28th from 9:00 - 10:00 am with a service following commencing at 10:00 am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6405 S. Orchard Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park immediately following the services.
