  • Manuel L. Perry, 87, a 20 year resident of Pasadena died on May 14, 2009 at the Crofton Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center.
    He was born on November 22, 1921 in Rhode Island to the late Joseph F. and Mary Perry.
    Mr. Perry was a builder in Anne Arundel County from the early 1950's until he retired 3 years ago when he was 85 years old.
    He was a member of the US Navy during WWII on the USS Columbia and a member of the VFW in Pasadena.
    Mr. Perry was a past member of the Church of the Crucifixion.
    He enjoyed fishing, golfing and his sports cars.
    Mr. Perry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Perry, his son Manuel L. Perry, Jr. of Augusta, WV, his daughters Mary Jo Weidenfoeft of Severna Park, and Nancy Ann Pritstien of Columbia, his brother George Perry of FL, his sister Mary Clemons of FL, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
    He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Philip L. Perry
    Friends may call on Monday, May 18, 2009 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 9:30 AM.  Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign War.
