A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, God-father, and friend, Jimmy Oswald left this world way to early at the age of 52, with his devoted wife and loving family by his side, April 30, 2019.

Jimmy was born on August 81966 and spent his early childhood in Locust Point.  He moved to Pasadena where he graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1984.  There he ran track, wrestled and played lacrosse.

After graduating high school, he returned to his roots in Locust Point to run his candy/convenience store.  However, most of his career was spent as a carpet/flooring mechanic.  Most recently he returned to the workforce doing what turned out to be the most meaningful to him - patient transportation.  He found this very fulfilling, met some great people with great stories (although nothing compared to his) ...and made some great friends along the way.

Jimmy's fondly remembered as having high expectations but was very forgiving; for being ornery yet caring, a fun-loving agitator, and an uninhibited goof!  ...but most of all, we remember his eternal optimism, continuous appreciation, and just plain adorable nature.

Jimmy's hobbies/interests include shooting pool, hunting, playing guitar, Jeeps, classic cars and Harley's*, traveling/cruises**, TV shows about the paranormal/aliens/conspiracy theories/history/science, family game nights, phone game apps, and over the past few years, he got into (and very good at) cooking.

The love for his family and friends, and his physical presence in our lives will be forever missed. In his life, Jimmy faced many challenges but was never bitter - he NEVER failed to find ways to turn lemons into lemonade.  He always said there were others worse off than he.  When you think of Jimmy, don't be sad for him...he wants you to celebrate the good memories!

One day, far from now, Jimmy will be joined by his beloved Wife Kimberly "Kimm";  protective, generous Mother Catherine “Fuzzy”; his loyal, doting Sister Catherine Northcraft, Brothers-in-law Kent, Has and Kevin; Sisters-in-law Claudia, Tracy, and Debbie; Adoring Nieces and Nephews Kate, Stephanie, Jessica, Bobbie, Emma, Brittney, Emily, Erika, Morgan, Breyanna, and Tatyanna; Grady, Clayton, William, Nathaniel, Will, Timmy, Kevin II, Alex, and Brian; Great Nieces Kaelin, Irelin, Brynly, Adelyn, and Hayden; Great Nephews Nolan, Kellan, Xander, Trent, Blane, Austin, Christian, and Jaxson...plus Jimmy is Gr-Uncle to his "circle of life" Gr-Niece/Nephew to be; God-children, friends and his fur-babies JOzie and ShadHo.

For now, Jimmy's welcomed home in the sweet hereafter by his precious gang of Angel Babies; Dedicated Father Robert "Oz", Younger Brother Robert "Bobby", Grandparents, other special family members and friends...plus his boys, Zeke, Duff, and Otis.

    Please spread the word...

*Any of our family/friends that are Jeep, classic car, or Harley enthusiasts are encouraged to use your ride for the procession!

**Keeping it casual for Jimmy - instead of fussy dresses or sports coats, please wear your favorite vacay/summer attire, Hawaiian shirts or bright/cheerful colors!

In lieu of flowers, Kimm and family ask that a donation be made in memory of Jimmy to BARCS Rescue (https://barcs.org/donate/tribute/) or The National Kidney Foundation (https://www.kidney.org/donation).

    JIMMY AND I THANK YOU!
