  • Elmer James Banister, Jr., 65, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. 

    Mr. Banister was born December 13, 1953 in Maryland to the late Elmer Sr. and Elizabeth Banister. He worked for Giant Grocery Warehouse Local 730 until his retirement after over 30 years of service. In 1993 Mr. Banister opened his own comic book store called, "Fudds Rabbit Hole" in Riviera Beach across from the Fire House. Because of its popularity, Mr. Banister would often be referred to as "Mr. Fudd" around the neighborhood. As his wife said, his hobbies included, "Comics, comics and more comics!". 

    Mr. Banister is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kimberly Banister of Pasadena, sons Christopher Banister of Pasadena, Philip Palazola of Pikesville, daughter Krystal Wilson and her husband Donald of Pasadena, brothers David Banister of Linthicum, Jon Banister of Glen Burnie, grandchildren Jasmine, DJ, Kyle, Alyssa, and Angellia.
