    Edward A. Aleksandrowicz, 87, a 55 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of the Canton area of Baltimore died on June 2, 2011 at Peartree Assisted Living.
    He was born on November 21, 1923 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Constantine and Kathrine Aleksandrowicz.
    Mr. Aleksandrowicz owned the Alexander's Auto Sales on Easter Avenue in Baltimore for over 35 years as well as Central Services & Repair on Eastern Ave. for 64 years.
    He served in the US Army Air Corp as a pilot during WWII.
    He was a member of Kent Island Yacht Club, Alhambra, and the American Power Boat Association.
    Mr. Aleksandrowicz was a power boat racer and is in the Gulf Marine Hall of Fame in the mid 1950's for being the 1st in Maryland to go 100mph.
    He is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Marcella K. Aleksandrowicz, his son Thomas "Tommy" E. Aleksandrowicz, his brothers Caz and Gus Aleksandrowicz, his sister Irene Mauer, and his parents.
    Mr. Aleksandrowicz is survived by his daughter Kathy Young and her husband Leonard "Len" of Pasadena, his grandchildren Jeff Young and Marcie Vallandingham, and his great grandchildren Dylan and KaitlynYoung and Tyler and Kacie Vallandingham.
    Friends may call on Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Casimirs Catholic Church.  Interment Holy Rosary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
