    Rev. Neata J. Pierce, 80, a resident of Pasadena for 63 years, died October 1 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
    She was born March 16, 1931 in Lee Co., Virginia to the late Samuel B. and Elizabeth Brown. 
    She was co founder with her husband  in 1962 the Gods Gospel Lighthouse Church in Pasadena. She was a Avon sales representative in the community, provided elder care for years till the early 90's, worked at Video Game Masters in Glen Burnie, and the Wal Mart in the 2000's. She loved teaching, preaching and singing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years the Rev. Alfred E. Pierce, her son Lewis "Gene" Pierce, a grandson Michael L. Pierce, and 2 brothers Gilbert and Garvey Brown. She is survived by a daughter Dolly Poole, of Pasadena, a brother Rennard Brown, of Richmond, Va. a sister Sue Stacy, of Wytheville, Va., a  granddaughter, Jessica Pierce Williams, a daughter-in-law Jeanne Pierce, of Pasadena, a niece Rhonda Loeb, and nephew Tim Stacy and several other nieces and nephew, also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
    Friends may call on  Monday and Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home PA 3111 Mountain Rd. Pasadena, were funeral services will be held on Wednesday 12 Noon , Burial Glen Haven Cemetery.
