  • Archer J. Hilditch,81, died November 7 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
    He was a resident of Pasadena for over 6o years. Born in Balt. to the late Edgar and Mary Hilditch. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1947. He retired from the AAI Corp., in Cockeysville after over 30 years of service, were he was a printer and supervisor in print services. He owned and operated the Progressive Press Co. in the 70's and 80's. He was a member of the Lake Shore Rotary Club, were he volunteered with cooking and serving meals for the Glen Burnie Salvation Army, and ringing the bell during the holidays, and a member of the Pasadena Sports Fishermans Club.
    Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Barbara L. Hilditch, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by a son Jim A. Hilditch and his wife Barbara of Pasadena, 2 daughters Julie L. Gugerty and her husband Mark of Pasadena, and Diane Hilditch and her husband Richard Knox of Balt. Co. 2 sisters Julia Andrews of Towson and Mary Clark of Ellicott City, a brother-in-law Earl Smith of Ellicott City and a sister-in-law Georgia Hilliard and her husband Michael, also survived by 4 grandchildren.
    Friends may call on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, 3111 Mountain Rd. Pasadena.  A Mass of Chrisian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10AM St. Jane Francis Catholic Church, Interment Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Glen Burnie Salvation Army or the Davita Dialysis, 8894 Ft. Smallwood Rd. Pasadena, Md. 21122.
