  •  Alma E. Hoover, 86, a resident of Pasadena for over 49 years and previously of Brooklyn-Curtis Bay area, died December 24 at the Baltimore Washington Hospital.
      She was born on March 8, 1925 in Marks Creek, North Carolina, to the late Thurston and Margaret Salley. She graduated from Southern High School in South Baltimore in the early 40's. A member of the old Curtis Bay United Methodist Church. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, cooking, reading, the Orioles and camping at the Naval Recreation Center at  Solomons Island, 
      Wife of 54 years the late Theodore Hoover Jr., a son Theodore Hoover III, a daughter Sharon Hoover, a brother Oscar Salley and a sister Martha Dulin. Survived by  3 daughters Salley Hoover of Pasadena, Rhonda Link of Severna Park, and Patricia Blakeney of Pasadena, a sister Betty Riggin of Linthicum. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
      Memorial service will be held on Saturday 7th of January 3PM at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church 4760 Mountain Rd., Pasadena. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
