    Billly Joe Cullins, 88 a 40 year resident of Pasadena Md died on February 17,2012 at his residence.

    He was born on May 26,1923 in Malvern Ark to the late Jesse and Nellie Cullins. He lived in Morgan , Utah until he enlisted in the Navy in 1941 served in the Pacific Theater during WWII with the Seal Unit. He was discharged in 1946 with many citations.  He worked for B&O Railroad for CSX for 43 years as a conductor, accident free. He did construction work on the side. He was very active with Little League formation in Elvation and managed for several years He was nominated several times as AA Co's Beautiful Person award as a result of his volunteer efforts in his Venice on the Bay community where he also served as president fro many years. He was also treated to a tribute from the Venice Community with a pot luck recognition dinner and a plaque in December 2011.  Mr Cullins was a member of Masonic Lodge #213, a lifetime member of VFW 2497. He was a member of Jenkins Memorial Church and also a member of Police Community Relation committee.

    He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elsie E Cullins, his sons; Billy Cullins Jr of West Virginia and Neal D. Wood of Atlanta, daughters; Joan Bayors of Pasadena MD , Diane Koblinsky of Glen Burnie, Celia Peteet of Pasadena MD., Alison Kessler of Pasadena,MD and Renee Bassett of Baltimore,MD He was preceded in death by brothers, Grady, James,Roy and sister Katie Cavenden. Also survived by six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

    Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home P.A. 3111 Mountain Road Pasadena Md. 21122. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10AM Jenkins Memorial Church. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, Md.
