    Richard Lee Owen, Sr., 61, a life long resident of Pasadena died on February 18, 2012 at his residence.

    He was born on August 15, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland to Virginia "Ginger" and the late Charles R. Owen. Mr. Owen graduated from Northeast Sr. High School in 1969. He worked as a mechanic for Koons Ford in Annapolis and then Baltimore. He was a former member of Lost in the 50's. He coached Soccer for Mountain Road Optimist from 1980-1993. Mr. Owen enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cars and the NHRA, and cooking.

    He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda Owen, his son Richard Owen, Jr. and his wife Mindi of Pasadena, his daughter Kristie Owen Phillips of Pasadena, his brother Thomas “Tyke” Owen and his wife Terry of Pasadena, his mother Ginger Jubb of Pasadena, his brother in law Joseph Rauscher, Jr and his wife Robin of Carney, his grandchildren Megan, Marlee, and Eli Owen, and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call on Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
