  • Sadie Fick, 92, a resident of Pasadena died on June 27, 2012 at her residence.
    She was born in Baltimore, MD on December 8, 1919 to the late Frank and Kate Rothhaupt.
    Mrs. Fick was a homemaker; however she did work as a riveter for Glen L Martin during WWII.
    She was a member of the German Lutheran Church in Baltimore during the 20’s and 30’s, the President of her bowling league at the American Bowling Lanes during the 60’s and 70’s, and she held swimming records at Baltimore City Public Schools in the mid to late 30’s
    Her hobbies included singing at Pear Tree and Locust Lodge Nursing Homes, watching the television shows “All About Raymond” and “I Love Lucy”. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, reading her Bible every night, eating at Cracker Barrel, her pets Trouble and Wild thing and wild ducks and birds.
    Mrs. Fick is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Arthur H. Fick, her sons; James B. Fick and Kenneth Fick.
    She is survived by her daughters; Pamela Fick Swaggerty of Pasadena and Dorothy Ann McKinney of Arkansas, her son Arthur Fick, Jr. of Brooklyn, her brother Bernard J. Struck of Belair, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.
    Friends may call on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:30 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Department of Aging, 2666 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
