  • Albert R. Morris, 70, a resident of Anne Arundel County for all of his adult life died on October 7, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
    He was born on January 12, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late John A. and Doris L. Morris. He was raised in Pimlico, MD and graduated from Forest Park High School in 1960. After graduating from high school Mr. Morris worked for Bethlehem Steel from 1960 until 1964 when he joined the US Army. Mr. Morris served from 1964-1966 with two tours in Vietnam. He then worked for the Department of the Army in Entomology until his retirement in 1997.
    Mr. Morris was a member of  the American Legion Post 276 in Severn.
    His hobbies included fishing, crabbing, golfing, bowling, softball, watching Orioles baseball and Ravens football, and in his youth playing baseball and football.
    Mr. Morris is survived by his wife of 23 years, Theresa Curreri-Morris, his children; Ken Morris of Towson, Patrick Morris of Pasadena, Terri Morris of Reisterstown and their mother Phyllis Morris of Glen Burnie, his sisters; Charlotte E. Corkran of LA and Deborah L. Morris-Walters of FL, his grandchildren; Erica Raymond, Breonna, and Raelyn.
    He is preceded in death by his sons; Ray and John “JC” Morris and his brother Frederick John Morris.
