  • Lloyd Frank Millsap, Sr., 86, a resident of Pasadena for 58 years died on June 11, 2013 at Assisted Living Well in .

    He was born on October 5, 1926 in Oakland, CA to the late George F. and Sadie Millsap.  He was raised in California and later moved to Baltimore, MD.  Mr. Millsap served in the Merchant Marines from 1944 until 1948 and was a WWII Veteran.  He worked as a supervisor with Kennecott Copper Corporation, retiring in 1983 after 24 years of service.  Mr. Millsap was a member of the Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Past President in the early 60’s, the American Legion Post #277, Magothy and Stoney Creek Seniors, President of the Pig Skin Club which became the Buccaneers, the Northeast Sr. High Booster Club, and a life member of the Stoney Creek Democratic Club where he served on the Board of Directors and called bingo.  His hobbies included golf, traveling, and dancing.

    Mr. Millsap is preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Marion E. Millsap, and his daughter Judy Floyd.

    He is survived by his sons; L. Frank Millsap, Jr. of Orchard Beach, Joe Millsap of Pasadena, his daughters; Carolyn Krantz of Eldersburg, Cathy Pfeiffer of Queenstown, and Mary Lynn Sykes of Orchard Beach, 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

    Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
